A Special Education Teacher is needed to join our team, 20 minutes from Cambridge, VT. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in special education or related field
• Valid Vermont Teacher's Certification
• Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience - Supervisor references required 
• Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities in high school
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents and other team members
• Assess student progress and modify instructional strategies as needed
• Provide behavior management and support for students with disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure a cohesive and inclusive educational environment
• Document all services provided in compliance with regulatory requirements

Caseload and School Details:

• Aug 2023 - June 2024
• Full Time (37.5 hrs)
