We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Resource Room Special Education Teacher to work with students in Kent, Washington. As a Resource Room Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing direct instruction, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and ensuring that students with diverse learning needs receive a high-quality education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Valid Washington Teaching License for Special Education
- Experience working with diverse learners and students with disabilities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to students with diverse learning needs in a resource room setting
- Develop and implement IEPs, ensuring that all accommodations and modifications are implemented
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure that students receive a high-quality education
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for home practice
