Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Near Scotts Valley, CA

Position Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Full-Time Position: Extended School Year (ESY) and Next School Year (NSY) options available

ESY Dates: June 12th - July 7th

NSY Dates: August 8th - May 24th

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students during both the Extended School Year (ESY) and Next School Year (NSY) programs.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the educational setting.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and evaluation reports.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience working with students in a school-based setting, preferably with various age groups.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with a variety of speech and language disorders and intervention techniques.
• Ability to work both during the Extended School Year (ESY) and Next School Year (NSY) programs, or exclusively during the NSY if preferred.
