Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC/CFY)

Location: Near Penngrove, CA

We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team near Penngrove, CA. This position is open to both experienced SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY). Position Type: Full Time

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract Dates: August 10, 2023 - June 12, 2024

Grade Levels: High School and K-8th Grade

Preferred Onsite SLPs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on areas such as articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational success
  • Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate accommodations and modifications
  • Maintain accurate documentation of students' progress and regularly communicate with the multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current California state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience working with high school and/or K-8th grade students preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and documentation practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
