Speech Language Pathologist - Akron

Location: Akron, Ohio

Overview: We are in search of a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to become an integral part of our educational team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to assisting students in overcoming communication challenges, possess exceptional diagnostic and therapeutic abilities, and be dedicated to fostering a nurturing learning atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans tailored to meet the diverse communication needs of students.
• Deliver SLP services to students in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and fellow school staff to bolster students' communication skills.
• Maintain precise records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and colleagues.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech and Language Pathology.
• Active SLP License.
