Job Opportunity: Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) near Glendale School District

Location: Near Glendale, AZ

Type: Full-Time

Assignment Duration: ASAP through Extended School Year (ESY)

Language Skills: Bilingual in English & Spanish

Caseload: Multiple Caseloads

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in conducting assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
• Collaborating with the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to address students' specific communication goals.
• Providing direct speech therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
• Assisting with translating and interpreting for students and parents as needed.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to support students' academic and social success.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required by state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• SLPA certification or eligibility to work as an SLPA in Arizona.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with students in a school setting is preferred.
