Apply NowSoliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a prominent school district in El Dorado County, CA for the current school year. This is a full-time, onsite position that offers a unique opportunity to contribute positively to the communication development of students. The specific caseload will be discussed during the interview process to ensure the best fit for both the SLPA and the students.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders in students.
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the guidance of the SLP to address students' communication and language needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or related field.
- Active California state license or eligibility for licensure.
- School-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for helping students develop effective communication skills.
