Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Need in Richwoods, Missouri

Soliant Health is currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team and contribute to the transformative work we do in the Richwoods, MO area.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist the licensed SLP in conducting initial screenings and evaluations to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
2. Prepare and organize therapy materials, equipment, and resources for treatment sessions.
3. Implement therapeutic activities and exercises designed by the SLP to target specific communication goals, such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, expressive language, voice projection, and fluency.
4. Provide support and assistance to clients during therapy sessions, ensuring their comfort and engagement.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or certification in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program from an accredited institution.
2. Knowledge of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders, as well as therapeutic techniques and interventions.
3. Familiarity with standardized assessment tools and procedures commonly used in speech-language pathology.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
