Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for an immediate, contract position in Colorado. This position is available from ASAP and will continue until the end of the school year. Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to implement therapy plans and strategies.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to students with speech and language disorders.
- Assist in conducting assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support the speech and language needs of students.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA License in the state of Colorado.
- DOE Certificate for Colorado.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
