Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Speech Language Pathologists to assist in conducting assessments and screenings to identify students with speech and language disorders.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
• Implement therapy plans and exercises as directed by the Speech Language Pathologist.
• Support students in improving their speech articulation, fluency, and language skills.
• Assist in monitoring and documenting students' progress and responses to therapy.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in team meetings, Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and other relevant discussions.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of therapy sessions and student progress.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
• Valid Kentucky Speech Language Pathologist Assistant certification.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families.
• A genuine passion for helping students overcome speech and language challenges.
• Flexibility and adaptability to address the diverse needs of students.
• Organizational skills to maintain therapy records and documentation.
