Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Opening Near Phillips, WI

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team at a school near Phillips, Wisconsin as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide support in implementing individualized speech and language therapy services to students.
• Assist in conducting screenings and assessments to identify students' communication needs.
• Implement therapy plans and techniques developed by the supervising SLP to address students' speech and language goals.
• Work closely with students, both individually and in small groups, to facilitate their speech and language development.
• Support students' progress tracking by collecting data and maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to students' communication goals.
• Assist with the preparation and organization of therapy materials and resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
• Prior experience as an SLPA is preferred but not required. Candidates with a strong interest in speech-language pathology are also encouraged to apply.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and team members.
• Passion for supporting students' communication development and a genuine interest in the field of speech-language pathology.
• Reliable and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Familiarity with relevant therapy techniques, tools, and resources is a plus.
• Willingness to collaborate and learn from licensed SLPs.
