Responsibilities:
As an SLPA, you will be responsible for assisting in the assessment and treatment of communication disorders in a school setting. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with Speech-Language Pathologists to plan and implement therapy sessions
- Providing one-on-one and small group therapy to students
- Assisting with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Monitoring and documenting student progress
- Participating in team meetings and communicating with parents and school staff
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license/certification
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
