Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the 23/24 academic year. As an SLPA, you will work closely with our Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with communication and language difficulties. Your role will involve implementing therapy plans, conducting activities, and providing individual and small-group therapy sessions to help students improve their speech and language skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing therapy plans and interventions
- Conduct speech and language activities under the supervision of the SLP
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Assist with assessments and data collection to monitor students' progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs in the classroom
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reports
- Support students in developing functional communication skills and strategies
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or relevant field
- Valid New Hampshire state license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred, but new graduates are also welcome to apply
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
