Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Caseload: K-12 (Specific school and caseload details will be discussed during the interview)

Are you a skilled and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) seeking an exciting opportunity in Houston, Texas? We are currently hiring for the '23-'24 school year and have positions available for both SLPs and experienced SLPAs with schools experience. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs and goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with the treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports

Qualifications: For SLP:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Texas state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with a K-12 caseload is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

For SLPA:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or related field
  • Valid Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Previous experience working in schools as an SLPA is required
  • Knowledge of speech and language disorders and intervention techniques
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
