Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
• Collaborate with experienced SLPs to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results.
• Provide speech-language therapy services to students, addressing areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension and expression, fluency, and social communication skills.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to integrate therapy strategies into classrooms and educational settings.
• Monitor students' progress, document therapy sessions, and make necessary adjustments to intervention plans.
• Participate in screenings and referrals to identify students who may benefit from speech and language services.
• Stay current with research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Completion of all academic coursework and clinical practicum requirements.
• Eligibility to participate in a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as specified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Current California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Passion for empowering students and helping them develop effective communication skills.
