Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow) for 2023-2024 School Year
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow) to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with a caseload that includes students from PreK to 8th grade.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 28 students with Autism during the first semester, and 30 students with Intellectual Disabilities and life skills during the second semester.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to student care.
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and monitor student progress to ensure that therapy goals are met.
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans, utilizing a variety of modalities and materials.
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and other school personnel regarding language and communication development.
- Attend IEP meetings, staff meetings, and other professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligible) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) from ASHA (or eligible) OR completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience working with students with Autism and/or Intellectual Disabilities preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
