Speech Language Pathologist - Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY)

Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) to join a school district in Wylie, TX for the 23-24 school year. This position offers a valuable opportunity for an SLP-CFY to gain hands-on experience under the supervision of a licensed SLP. It is a full-time position with a work schedule of 40 hours per week, and it requires working onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
• Collaborate with licensed SLPs in developing and implementing therapy plans
• Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
• Monitor and document student progress, under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Attend team meetings and contribute to students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech and language therapy

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Currently completing or recently completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Eligible for or in possession of a Texas state licensure or ability to obtain appropriate licensure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
