Location: Near Madison Heights, MI

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team near Madison Heights, Michigan, for a full-time maternity leave position. The assignment will begin in August and continue until December, covering students in grades K-2.

Position Details:

• Position Type: Speech Language Pathologist.
• Location: Madison Heights, MI.
• Duration: Full-time maternity leave for the Fall of 2023 (August to December).
• Grade Levels: K-2nd grade.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and evaluate speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjust intervention strategies as necessary, and provide progress reports.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Valid Michigan license to practice Speech Language Pathology.
• Experience working with children in the K-2nd grade range.
• Strong understanding of child development and learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
