Speech Language Pathologist for the 23/24 School Year

Job Title: Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Wellington, KS

Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Start Date: 2023-2024 School Year

We are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team near Wellington, KS for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. As an SLP, you will be responsible for assessing and treating students with communication disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders
• Developing and implementing treatment plans for students with communication disorders
• Providing therapy services to students individually and in groups
• Documenting student progress and communicating with parents and other members of the education team
• Collaborating with other professionals to provide a comprehensive approach to student care

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Certification as an SLP in the state of Kansas
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Knowledge of AAC devices and/or bilingual proficiency preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
