Soliant is working with a school district in the Haverhill, MA area that is scheduling interviews for a Speech Language Pathologist position. The position will be full-time working with a population of elementary school children. At this time both SLP-CCC and CFY candidates will be considered for this position if the candidate has pediatrics experience.
As a school-based SLP, the candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect speech-related services to a caseload of elementary school students
Develop Individualized Educational Plans (IEP) and complete written reports and evaluations
Perform therapy sessions one-on-one or in a group setting
Facilitate IEP meetings to discuss student’s progress with parents, caregivers, and other school personnel
Accept referrals for preschool screenings to see if they qualify for speech services
Collaborate with other therapists and school personnel on the best course of treatment for students.
Position Requirements:
SLP-CCC or CF (supervision provided
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Massachusetts SLP license
Previous pediatrics experience, preferred
Schedule:
Monday-Friday; 37.5 hours/wk
8:00am- 3:30pm
