Soliant has partnered with a school district in Hershey, PA that is actively interviewing candidates for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist position. The therapist will work 37.5 hours a week with a 6th- 12th grade caseload of 35-45 students. At this time both SLP-CCC and CFY candidates with school’s experience will be considered for this position. Candidates with part-time availability are encouraged to apply and the district may be able to work around the candidate's availability if they are interested in the position. Position Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Administer tests and evaluations to diagnose and plan treatment for speech, language, fluency, voice, and other related disorders.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
  • Keep accurate and up to date notes and documentation on the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of students’.
  • Develop individual or group programs to directly work with students with speech or language problems.
  • Instruct family members and guardians in strategies to help with their children’s impairments and work towards goals at home.
  • Participate in annual IEP meetings for students.
  • Qualifications:

  • SLP-CCC or CFY
  • Pennsylvania SLP License
  • School-based experience, preferred
