About the Position
We are seeking dedicated and dynamic Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri, serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Our caseloads include students with severe behavioral needs, and we are looking for candidates who thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of needs, including severe behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assist with virtual SLP services to ensure comprehensive support for all students.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and supportive working environment.
Qualifications
- For SLPs:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Missouri state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- For SLPAs:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current Missouri state license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Experience with or willingness to learn about severe behavioral needs.
- Flexibility to adapt to different service delivery models (onsite, hybrid, VOCO).
- Proficiency in technology for virtual service provision.
