Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Eufaula, Alabama

Position Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week (preferred)

School Year: '23-'24

Caseload: K-12

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the '23-'24 school year. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students in Eufaula, Alabama. Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten to twelfth grade
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' communication goals
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Alabama
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment, and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
