Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Conduct therapy sessions to improve students' communication skills and abilities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate strategies and interventions.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Illinois state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
