Soliant, a leading healthcare staffing company, is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist in or near Homewood, IL.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Conduct therapy sessions to improve students' communication skills and abilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate strategies and interventions.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in speech-language pathology.

 

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Illinois state license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
