Job Summary: We are excited to announce a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opening near Leesburg, FL, for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language skills.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to support students' communication development.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other relevant school activities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Florida.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting.
- Knowledge of various assessment tools and therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
