Soliant is partnering with a respected school district located north of Austin, TX, to fill a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position for the 23/24 school year. We are seeking a talented and dedicated professional to join our team and make a positive impact on students' lives through speech and language therapy. Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of students with communication disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on students' needs and goals
• Conduct therapy sessions, either individually or in small groups, targeting areas such as articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and social skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
• Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff regarding students' communication needs and strategies for fostering language development in the classroom
• Stay updated on current research and trends in speech-language pathology to enhance therapy techniques and interventions

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
• Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Texas
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working as an SLP in a school setting is a plus
• Knowledge of various assessment and therapy techniques for speech and language disorders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
