Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Near Dorchester, MA

We are currently seeking five talented and experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team in Dorchester, MA for the 2023-2024 academic year. Position Type: Full Time (five positions available)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting students' communication goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse needs and diagnoses
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate accommodations and modifications
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of students' progress and communicate regularly with the multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Massachusetts
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
• Strong understanding of IEPs and knowledge of service delivery in schools
• Proficient assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students

Caseload and Location: The exact caseload and location assignments will be determined based on the needs of the school and the individual therapist's qualifications and preferences.
