Speech-Language Pathologist, (SLP-CCC/CFY), Albuquerque NM

Calling on SLPs (Clinical fellows too!) who want to live and work in the wonderful city of Albuquerque, NM. Soliant is co-ordinating with a smaller school community that is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist.

Both part- and full-time applicants are welcome to apply. Caseload assignments will be made in consultation with the speech co-ordinator.

We seek applicants with the following core competencies:

• Solid problem solving skills: be curious, ask questions, and think your way around a problem
• Flexibility: manage shifting priorities and uncertainties that may arise due to poor communication or lack of information
• Good written and verbal communication skills. Students, staff and parents depend on you to treat, coach and educate them
• Organization skills: maintain accurate records and create a system for sharing information with others
• Up-to-date knowledge of speech and language disorders, therapy or activities for school children, and Special Education procedures in a public school setting

Education and license requirements:

• Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
• New Mexico license in Speech-Language Pathology 
• SLP endorsement from the New Mexico Public Education Department
