Position: School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (Maternity Leave Cover) Employment Type: Full-Time (Temporary: NOV-FEB)

Position Overview: Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech and language services to our students while covering a maternity leave absence. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders, ensuring that students continue to receive the support they need during this period.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Provide therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adapt interventions as required.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and fellow specialists to support students' communication goals.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment plans.
• Participate actively in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to students' education plans.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology 
• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Massachusetts (SLP-CCC).
• Valid state of Massachusetts Teaching Certificate 
• Previous experience in school-based settings or working with pediatric populations is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
• Flexible and adaptable to temporary assignments.
