Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Centereach, NY. The SLP will provide therapy services to students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders to support their educational development and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student IEP goals.
  • Provide direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to implement effective strategies.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to develop and review student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid New York SLP license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but CFs are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
