Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Extended School Year

Soliant Health is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time position in a school district located in Palo Alto, CA. This position is for the Extended School Year (ESY) contract and requires working onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students during the ESY period
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
• Provide direct therapy services to students and monitor their progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals
• Attend and participate in ESY team meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid California state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred
• Knowledge of various communication disorders and treatment techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
