We are in collaboration with a school district in Daly City, CA, currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position this upcoming school year.

Start/End Date: 08/16/2023 to 06/07/2024

Position Type: Contract

Total Hours Worked per Week: 35 Hours per Week

Daily Arrival/Departure Time: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including unpaid lunch

Caseload Details:

  • Age Group: Various age groups
  • Caseload Size: Up to 55 students
  • Work schedule may change depending on school assignment

Requirements:

  • Valid California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills
  • Monitor and document student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and accommodations
