We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming school year in South Bend, IN. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with communication disorders and speech-language delays. This is a full-time position, offering 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students individually or in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to student support.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Offer guidance and support to teachers and staff on strategies to promote effective communication skills in the classroom.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Indiana.
  • Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, therapy techniques, and intervention strategies for communication disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and the school team.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive and supportive relationships with students.
