Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team in California (CA). This is a full-time, in-person position that involves working with elementary and secondary students. Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
- Provide speech therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and objectives.
- Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certification (preferred but not required).
- Previous experience working with elementary and secondary students is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
