Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a contract basis in the state of Virginia. This is a full-time position with guaranteed hours and a competitive pay package. The SLP will have the flexibility to work based on their caseload preference and will play a crucial role in supporting the communication needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose communication and speech disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings.
  • Stay current on best practices and new developments in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Virginia state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification preferred.
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
