Apply NowSoliant is thrilled to announce an excellent opportunity for a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join a distinguished school district near St. Charles, Illinois. This position, starting as soon as possible and extending through June 20, 2024, offers the chance to work up to 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with students ranging from Pre-K to 8th grade. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that align with each student's specific communication goals and IEP (Individualized Education Program).
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate speech and language strategies into the educational curriculum.
- Monitor and document student progress, collecting data and reporting outcomes to the educational team.
- Offer guidance and support to students, helping them improve their speech and language abilities and fostering effective communication.
- Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs, ensuring that students receive the necessary services and accommodations.
- Utilize strong case management skills to coordinate services and maintain accurate records.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of student development and educational insights for students from Pre-K to 8th grade.
- Bilingual proficiency is preferred to assist with the needs of a diverse student population.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) and PEL (Professional Educator License) endorsement in Speech Language Pathology.
- Previous experience in case management, IEP development, and K-12 education.
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality speech and language services to students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, colleagues, and other professionals.
