Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Soliant, a leading healthcare staffing company, is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Port Charlotte, FL and surrounding areas. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to evaluate students' communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language development
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding speech and language goals and objectives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided
Qualifications: For SLP:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Florida
For SLPA:

Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field

Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in the state of Florida

Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred

Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
