Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Soliant, a leading healthcare staffing company, is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Port Charlotte, FL and surrounding areas. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to evaluate students' communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language development
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding speech and language goals and objectives
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided

Qualifications: For SLP:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Florida

For SLPA:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field

  • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in the state of Florida

  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred

  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
