This is a full-time position for the upcoming school year, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders and delays
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language goals
  • Conduct therapy sessions in both individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support students' overall development and progress
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required paperwork

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Nevada
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desired
  • Strong knowledge of various communication disorders and effective intervention strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students
