Soliant Health, a leading healthcare staffing company, is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school district in Reno, NV. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders and delays
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language goals
- Conduct therapy sessions in both individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support students' overall development and progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required paperwork
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Nevada
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desired
- Strong knowledge of various communication disorders and effective intervention strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students
