Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide exceptional services to students in K-12th grade. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and social success
- Monitor student progress, make data-driven decisions, and adjust intervention strategies as necessary
- Document student performance and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Attend IEP meetings and actively participate in the development and review of students' educational plans
- Stay up-to-date with best practices, research, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Massachusetts license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligible for ASHA Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Prior experience working with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and knowledge of service delivery in school settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help children succeed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish or other languages)
- Experience supervising and collaborating with Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs)
