Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Texas

Soliant Health is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with a school district near League City, TX for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. As a school SLP, you will work with students in a K-12 setting and help them to overcome communication and language disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments, evaluations, and treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement effective therapy plans
• Track student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
• Document student progress and communicate findings to parents, teachers, and other school staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and modifications
• Follow school policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Texas state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
