Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Castroville, TX for the 23-24 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position with a caseload primarily focused on elementary students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and students' communication goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, language comprehension and expression, fluency, and social communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs within the academic setting
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary
  • Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to the development and review of students' individualized education plans
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff in implementing strategies to promote students' language development and academic success
  • Stay updated on current research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited university
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Texas
  • Previous experience working with elementary students is preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply
  • Knowledge of assessment tools, therapy techniques, and intervention strategies for speech and language disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality services to students and supporting their academic and social-emotional growth
