Soliant Health is currently seeking multiple passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school district in San Antonio, TX. These are full-time onsite positions for the 23-24 school year. The district has multiple caseloads available, offering a diverse range of experiences. Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus, and fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication development within the classroom and home settings
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to the development and review of students' goals and objectives
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff in implementing strategies to enhance students' communication skills
  • Stay current with research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Texas
  • Experience working with diverse caseloads and knowledge of various speech and language disorders
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is highly desirable
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Dedication to providing high-quality services to students and supporting their overall development
