Soliant Health is currently seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school district in Arlington, TX for the 23-24 school year. We have both full-time and part-time positions available to accommodate different scheduling needs. The SLPs will work with an elementary caseload, providing speech and language services to students in a school-based setting. The positions are onsite within the school district.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with various speech and language disorders or delays
  • Address areas such as articulation, phonology, expressive and receptive language, pragmatics, fluency, and social communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication needs in the classroom and other settings
  • Attend and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing input on goals and objectives
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding strategies and accommodations for students with communication needs
  • Stay updated on current research and evidence-based practices in the field of speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Texas
  • Previous experience working with an elementary caseload is preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality services and supporting students' overall communication development
