Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Laramie, WY, for the 2023-2024 school year. This is a full-time position that will involve working onsite with students to provide speech and language therapy services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' specific communication goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom and educational settings
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of students' individualized education plans
  • Stay up to date with current research and evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff on strategies to enhance communication skills in the classroom

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited university
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in the state of Wyoming
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, therapy techniques, and intervention strategies for speech and language disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Dedicated, compassionate, and passionate about helping students reach their full potential
