Soliant Health is currently seeking multiple passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school district in Albuquerque, NM for the 23-24 school year. This is a full-time position requiring 39 hours per week, and the SLPs will work onsite at various schools within the district.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for students with speech and language disorders
- Provide direct therapy services to students, addressing their specific speech and language goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the academic setting
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active New Mexico SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification is preferred
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) is preferred, but CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting, is desired but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
