Soliant Health is currently seeking multiple passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school district in Albuquerque, NM for the 23-24 school year. This is a full-time position requiring 39 hours per week, and the SLPs will work onsite at various schools within the district.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for students with speech and language disorders
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, addressing their specific speech and language goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the academic setting
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active New Mexico SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification is preferred
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) is preferred, but CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting, is desired but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
