Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Soliant Health is partnering with a school district in Yuma, AZ to hire a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2023-2024 school year. This is a full-time position that requires onsite presence to provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to PreK students.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify PreK students' speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
• Provide direct therapy services to PreK students in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support PreK students' communication skills and overall development
• Monitor and document PreK students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' individualized education plans
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of therapy services and student progress

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid Arizona state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification is preferred
• Experience working with PreK-aged children, preferably in a school setting
• Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and appropriate therapy techniques for PreK students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
