Soliant Health is currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a full-time, onsite position within a school district in Clovis, NM. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives as part of a dedicated team. The position is for the 2023-2024 school year, and the caseload will encompass students from Kindergarten to 12th grade.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the occupational therapist to implement treatment plans and interventions for students with various needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on developing and enhancing their fine motor, sensory motor, and visual motor skills.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' functional abilities and monitor their progress over time.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to ensure coordinated efforts and support students' academic success.

Requirements:

  • Valid Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in the state of New Mexico.
  • Experience working in a school setting is highly preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse caseload of students from different grade levels.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members, parents, and students.
