Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school district in Quincy, WA for the 2023-2024 school year. This is a full-time position, providing onsite speech and language therapy services to students in the district.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student IEPs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with various speech and language disorders, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic difficulties
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective strategies and interventions for students' communication and academic success
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of students' individualized education plans
  • Keep accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and other required documentation
  • Stay updated with the latest research, best practices, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable
  • Eligibility for licensure as an SLP in the state of Washington
  • Prior experience working as an SLP in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques and interventions for students with speech and language disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and the multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of students with diverse needs
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and experience attending IEP meetings
