Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Soliant Health is currently seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school district in Merced, CA for the 23-24 school year. These are full-time, onsite positions with a primary caseload in the PreK setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the speech and language abilities of PreK students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and students' communication goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students, addressing areas such as articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, and social communication
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills within the PreK setting
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of students' individualized education plans
• Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff in implementing strategies to promote language development and academic success in the PreK classroom

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited university
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California
• Experience working with PreK populations preferred
• Knowledge of assessment tools, therapy techniques, and intervention strategies for speech and language disorders in young children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
