Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Longview, WA for the 23-24 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate the speech and language abilities of students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and students' communication goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students, addressing areas such as articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, and social communication
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills within the educational setting
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of students' individualized education plans
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff in implementing strategies to promote language development and academic success
- Stay updated on best practices, research, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited university
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Washington
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of assessment tools, therapy techniques, and intervention strategies for speech and language disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Dedication to providing high-quality services to students and supporting their academic and social-emotional growth
